The design agency www.substrakt.co.uk (BIG UP!!!) decided to have a studio launch party and invite lots of clients, colleuges, friends and family. We decided (3 weeks ago) that I needed to show some work. So i (madly) decided to shoot a whole new project. I have been builing up some nice work which I’ve been shooting black and white on my Leica but it’s documentary work and very much in the process. I’m building up to a big show and I plan to hand print etc…. (ah, the darkroom!)

So the last 3 weeks have been insane. The title explains it all. It’s pretty different work for me. There’s a lot of self portraits and narrative and I’m feeling buzzed by the whole thing. I feel like i pushed some boundries creatively for me. I see it as very much work in progress but the beginning of something pretty cool. Check it out on my site.
