Light wise...
I had a shoot for the council yesterday which required hiring some additional lights. The shoot was a half day so i crammed in as much as possible in the afternoon and evening.

me and my Leica
So, I did it. Around a month ago…. jumped into the Leica world.
I’ve had a rocky start. First i had problems with the metering, which i resolved. Next I faced glare issues. I’ve shot maybe 15 rolls.
Getting used to the range finder has been strange but cool. It’s such a different way of working but I love it. It’s true what they say… I’ve stripped right...

One day in ‘98 or maybe ‘99 me and my mum had the most amazing afternoon on the South Bank, ending in the Haywood Gallery where we saw Henri Cartier Bresson’s ‘Europeans’ upstairs and works by Francis Bacon’s down. It blew my mind…. the decisive moment indeed. He had a way of making you be inside the picture without the subjects knowing you were there,...
